LPG subsidy comes under scanner, government to revise norms

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IBNS) Households with an average annual income of over 10 lakhs rupees are likely to be struck off from the LPG subsidy list, according to reports.
Speaking at a function in Andhra Pradesh, M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, said that it is a possible move by the government to maintain a financial equilibrium. 
 
The minister also asserted that many fake beneficiaries were eliminated in a crackdown by the government.
