Longest surviving Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist nabbed by security forces in Shopian

Srinagar: Security forces have arrested the longest surviving Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said on Sunday.

Police said Nasir Ahmad Sher Gojri alias Qasim Bhai a resident of Homhuna Nagbal and active since 2017 was arrested jointly by police and Army.

“Shopian Police & Army arrested one of the longest surviving HM terrorist active since 2017 namely Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd R/o HomHuna Nagbal, involved in various criminal cases. Case registered & investigation set in motion to unearth the terror network”, a police tweet said.
