#LokSabhaPoll2019: Congress can perhaps win in Pakistan, says Ram Madhav

| @indiablooms | Mar 24, 2019, at 07:11 pm

Guwahati, Mar 24 (UNI) BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav today alleged that the Congress is using Pakistan as a poll plank, questioning whether the Opposition party was speaking for India or for the neighbouring country.

“The Congress is banking on lies. It is banking on Pakistan. It has no issues,” he said, talking to reporters here.

Claiming that the Congress is in a ‘clueless fight’, Madhav said,“What direction they are going is not clear. Whether they are fighting for India or for Pakistan, it is not clear.”

“Their (Congress) leaders are not just questioning our government, which is expected of them, but they are also questioning our Army,” he added.

“People in our neighbouring country are more re-tweeting their statements. Perhaps, if they contested there, they could win,” Madhav said.

He claimed that wherever Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are going, they are hearing ‘Modi-Modi’ slogans.

Madhav also refuted the charges made in the purported paper slips belonging to BJP Karnataka ex-CM BS Yeddyurappa, claiming it a ‘bogus, fraudulent issue’.

Exuding confidence that the BJP and its allies will return to power with two-third majority this time, he said,“The Modi-wave of last election is even greater this time. Conventional political wisdom shows ruling party cannot create wave for itself, but Modi is know to break conventions.”
