Lok Sabha adjourned till noon following uproar

New Delhi, Dec 18 (IBNS) : The Lok Sabha was forced to be adjourned on Monday following huge uproar and acrimony over the emerging poll results in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, reports said.

The trouble stated as  BJP members raised slogans hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi  and the polling trends and the   opposition raised the issue of Modi making certain comments against former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Almost from the beginning of the proceedings  BJP members raised slogans like “Narendra Modi zindabad” and “BJP zindabad”.

BJP’s Kirit Somaiya also took a dig at the Congress over poll result trends coming in from Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

The opposition then  raised the issue of remarks made by Modi against Singh in Gujarat.

As the uproar and unruly scene continued, the Speaker  adjourned the House till noon.
