New Delhi/UNI: Lok Sabha, the lower house of Parliament, was adjourned sine die on Wednesday, a day ahead of schedule.

Speaker Om Birla said the House had an overall productivity of 82 percent.

The Modi government introduced 12 bills, out of which nine bills were passed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Congress president Sonia Gandhi were among members present in the House at the time.

The winter session started on Nov 29.

In the winter session, the Modi government introduced and passed the bill in Parliament to repeal the three contentious farm laws that had triggered massive, widespread protests in and around Delhi.

Even before the session started, the Prime Minister had announced the repeal of the laws, apologising to the country.
