Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) RJD led grand alliance today accused BJP and JD (U) of being hand in gloves for ill-behaviour meted out to RJD chief Lalu Prasad jailed after his conviction in a case saying the latter was subjected to harassment worse than Indian prisoners facing in Pakistani jails.

Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav, youngest son of RJD chief Mr Prasad told newspersons at the state party headquarters in presence of Rashtirya Lok Samata Party chief Upendra Kushwaha, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief and former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, state Congress president Madan Mohan Jha and senior Vikasshil Insan Party (VIP) leader Arjun Sahni that jailed Mr Prasad was not keeping good health but he was facing ill-behaviour which was worse than what Indian prisoners were facing in Pakistani jails.

He said that NDA government in Jharkhand was meting out such an ill-treatment on being encouraged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi.

Yadav said, RJD chief was suffering from diseases and was undergoing treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi.

He said that RJD chief earlier was meeting people every Saturday as fixed by the court but now he was not allowed to meet people.

Prasad is ill and he needs medical tests but the same are not being conducted deliberately citing security reasons, he added.
