Kota CHMO withdraws resignation

Kota, Dec 21 (IBNS): Two days after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Prahalad Gunjal was suspended for allegedly threatening a Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Kota in Rajasthan, the latter has withdrawn his application for voluntary retirement, reports said on Sunday.
Kota's CMHO RN Yadav, who earlier submitted his resignation following the threat, took back the same after the Health Minister assured him of safety for his family.
 
The BJP has suspended the lawmaker for allegedly threatening a doctor over phone.
 
MLA Prahalad Gunjal from Kota (North) in Rajasthan had allegedly threatened the CMHO over the issue of transfer of a male nurse, reports said.
 
The phone conversation between the leader and  Dr. R N Yadav had gone viral over internet.
 
An FIR was also registered against  MLA Phralad Gunjal.
 
The leader was heard hurling abuses at Dr. R N Yadav.
