Kolkata: Private tutor allegedly beats up kid as he peed his pant

Kolkata, Aug 6 (IBNS): A five-year-old child was allegedly beaten up by his private tutor at Malipara area under Baranagar Police Station in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district as he peed his pants, reports said.

According to reports, the kid, who went to accused tutor Baishakhi's house on Friday evening in the evening, accidentally peed his pants while studying.

The kid's family claimed that the private tutor beat him up  badly with a steel pipe.

The  kid, who is a student of Baranagar Narendranath School, was rushed to Baranagar State General Hospital with several injuries. He was discharged after first-aid.

The child's family on Friday night lodged a complaint against the private tutor at Baranagar Police Station.

Meanwhile, Asim Roy, a 55-year-old teacher of Vidyamandir Primary School at Birati area under Airport Police Station  in North 24 Parganas district, was arrested on Saturday for allegedly molesting several girl students inside the school campus.
