Kolkata, Apr 18 (IBNS): Cops from Netaji Nagar Police Station on Monday arrested one 70-year-old man, Kamal Ganguly, from his residence near Kolkata's Tollygunge area, for allegedly manhandling a college girl, reports said.

According to reports, a 22-year-old student of Presidency University alleged that she was molested by at least six suspected Trinamool Congress (TMC) activists at Gandhi Colony area under Netaji Nagar PS limits around 9 p. on Friday, while she was returning home with a friend, for smoking openly and wearing shorts.

She alleged that her friend was also manhandled by the attackers.

However, the girl lodged an FIR against unknown persons in Nataji Nagar PS under IPC sections 34, 323, 341, 506, 509 and 354, police reports said.
