Kolkata: Man found dead with bullet wound inside goods carrier
According to police reports, the man, who was identified as Kanhaiya Sahu alias Chhotu, was found dead with a left-chest gunshot wound in the cabin of a Tata mini truck, which was locked from inside, in the morning. A single-shot fire arm was also recovered from the vehicle.
Police from Maniktala Police Station and officers of Kolkata Police's homicide wing, along with sniffer dog, rushed to the spot.
According to locals, Kanhaiya was an activist of ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).
Police have started investigation into the matter.
