Kolkata: Fire breaks out in office building near Raj Bhavan, firefighting ops underway

Kolkata/IBNS: A major fire broke out at a commercial building in Kolkata's Dalhousie area on Wednesday morning, reports said.

According to reports, the fire was first noticed on the rooftop canteen of the building located near Raj Bhavan in central Kolkata at around 10:30 am.

As many as 10 fire tenders rushed to the scene and firemen are currently continuing firefighting operations.

No casualty has been reported so far.

After visiting the area, Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal said all were evacuated from the building and none was trapped inside.
