Kolkata airport to introduce night bus service for passengers

Kolkata, Feb 2 (IBNS) The NSCBI Airport Kolkata is going to introduce hourly night service of Volvo bus from for the passengers at night and early morning, officials said.

The service will be available from 10 pm to 5 am.

"This was decided at the meeting of the Airport Advisory Committee held today under the Chairmanship of Shri Sougata Roy, MP," read a government statement.

Airport Director B.P.Sharma informed the meeting that four more self check-in kiosks are to be introduced shortly to take the number of such kiosks up to 10 because the facility has become very popular with the passengers.

The Airport will soon have paid porter service also, he said.

The other new facilities to come up by March end include opening of Hotel Rooms and Commercially important Peoples’ Lounge at an affordable rate in the new Terminal.
