Kejriwal targetting PM Modi to divert attention from corruption in Delhi: BJP

New Delhi: BJP on Saturday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for targetting PM Modi and using his degrees to divert attention from the "corrupt practices" of its leaders in the alleged liquor policy scam in Delhi.

"Kejriwal has created one or other farce by making such comments against PM Modi to only hide the real issue of corruption in Delhi," BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said here.

Trivedi's remarks came after Kejriwal on Saturday raised questions over PM Modi's educational qualification, a day after a court in Gujarat imposed a Rs 25,000 on him for seeking information that is already in the public domain.

The BJP spokesperson said that Former Deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia's bail was rejected. The court noted that they have apprehensions of destroying or tampering with evidence & showing active participation of the applicant."

"Now the facts are coming out that not only Manish Sisodia but other people of Aam Aadmi Party were also responsible for influencing liquor policy through corruption," he said.
