Kejriwal apology: Punjab AAP Chief Bhagwant Mann, co-prez Aman Arora resign
New Delhi, Mar 16 (IBNS): A day after Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal apologised to ex-Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia, two of his party leaders from Punjab resigned on Friday.
Punjab AAP president Bhagwant Mann and co-president Aman Arora resigned from their positions on Friday.
Mann took it to Twitter to say:

Kejriwal on Thursday apologised to ex-Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia for saying the latter was involved in drug trade in the northern state.
Majithia, who had sued Kejriwal for the comment, furnished the Delhi CM's apology letter in the court on Thursday.
In the letter, Kejriwal said: "..I've learnt that allegations are unfounded. Hence there should be no politics on such issues."
"I hereby withdraw my statements and allegations made against you and apologise for the same" the Delhi CM added.
Kejriwal’s apology, however, drew flak from party’s Punjab unit leaders.
