Kashmir: Woman, 3 children killed, 15 injured in Samba road mishap

Jammu/UNI: Three children were among four people killed and 15 others injured when a passenger auto was hit by the truck in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, here on Saturday.

Police said that the accident took place late on Friday night when a passenger auto was hit by the truck near the Samba bus stand.

The deceased were identified as Suman Devi, 40, wife of Shiv Dayal of Khadgal, Rahul, 8, son of Tarsem Lal, Muskan,5, daughter of Tarsem Lal and Krish,5, son of Ramesh Lal, all residents of Jaswal Mandal.

The injured have been identified as Geeta Devi, Minakashi Devi, Veena Devi, Usha Devi, Rekha Devi, Neha Devi, Geeta Devi, Ritika, Jyoti Devi, Garo Devi, Jyoti Devi, Champa Devi, all residents of Jaswal Mandal, Arshi Devi, Neha Devi and Shani Devi residents of Manore.

"Four of the injured have been referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu," police said.
