Kashmir: Wanted Jaish militant arrested in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 14 (UNI): A wanted militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) was arrested by a Special team of Delhi police with the assistance of state police from outskirts of Srinagar, official sources said on Tuesday.

He said a special team of Delhi police, along with state police, raided a place in Soura area on the city outskirts and arrested Abdul Majeed Baba, who was carrying a reward of Rs two lakh on his head.

Baba was involved in the 2007 Delhi shootout, when two Kashmiri and a Pakistan militants were arrested.

However, he had managed to escape, they said, adding that Baba will be produced in the court and later taken to Delhi.
