Kashmir: Two policemen injured in terrorist attack in Kulgam

Srinagar/UNI: Two policemen were injured in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district Saturday evening, sources said.

According to the sources, the attack took place at Manzgam area of Damhal Hanjipora, Kulgam when a police party was moving in the area.

"Both the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital," they said.

The area has been cordoned-off and a manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.

Police have yet not issued any statement on the attack.

The attack took place at a time when terrorists have stepped up attacks on the civilians.

Seven civilians, including four members from the minority community, have been killed in various attacks in the past one week.
