Kashmir : PDP leader shot dead by militants

Srinagar, Apr 22 (IBNS) : Ruling People's Democratic Party's Pulwama district President Abdul Gani Dar was shotd dead by militants in Rohmoo village of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on Sunday, media reports said.

Dar was admitted to  hospital after being shot at, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Unidentified assailants fired on Dar in south Kashmir's Pinglan area of Pulwama district  when  he was travelling in a car.

Before joining PDP in November, 2014, Dar held several posts with the Congress.

This was the third such attack on PDP cadre in south Kashmir in the past two weeks.
