Kashmir: Man killed in road accident

Srinagar, Jun 18 (UNI) A man was killed in a road accident in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Tuesday afternoon.

Official sources said that a vehicle skidded off the road and turned turtle in village Buthoo in Bandipora, resulting in critical injuries to the driver.

The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The deceased was identified as Noor-ud-din Rather, a teacher by profession.

After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites, the sources added.
