Kashmir: Life remains affected in parts of Anantnag for third day

Srinagar, Apr 27 (UNI): Life remained affected for the third day on Saturday due to strike in parts of Anantnag, where two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were killed by security forces in an encounter at Bijbehara in south Kashmir.

Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in parts of Anantnag, including Bijbehara. Educational institutions and tuition and coaching centres also remained closed. Work in government offices was affected.

However, situation elsewhere in the south Kashmir was normal with business and other activities going on normally and traffic plying on all routes.
