Kashmir crime: Two drug peddlers arrested in Sopore

Baramulla, May 21 (UNI) Two drug peddlers were arrested alongwith codeine phosphate and spasmoproxyvon tablets in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir district, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

At a naka point at Batpora Sopore, two persons were intercepted and during their frisking, police recovered banned tablets from their possession.

The drug peddlers were identified as Hilal Ahmad Magray, resident of Upper Ashpeer Sopore and Faisal Ahmad Dar, resident of Khushal Mattoo Sopore.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation has been taken up.
