Karnataka: Man attempts to commit suicide by silting his throat in Vidhana Soudha

Bengaluru, Jun 24(UNI) In a gruesome incident, a man tried to commit suicide by silting his throat in the third floor of the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat, here on Monday.

According to police, the accused was identified as Revankar, resident of Chikkaballapura district. The reason for his attempt is not yet known.

Immediately after the incident, the police shifted him to Hospital where he was battling for life, the sources said.

With the incident occurred at the high-security building, Vidhana Soudha, which houses the offices of the Chief Minister and that of the cabinet ministers, the police are also probing about the security-breach.
