Karnataka: Four members of a family, including two children, drowned

Hassan, June 1(UNI) Four members of a family, including two children, feared drowned when a bullock cart, in which they were traveling, fell into a tank at Hoshalli village, Holenarasipura Taluk in the district on Saturday.

Police said the incident took place when the victims were going to Agriculture field with Potato Seeds for sowing. Due to heavy rain last night the mud was very slippery and the bullock cart fell into the tank.

The victims have been identified as Rajugowda (55) his wife Kanthamma (45), Sinchana (6) and Gundamma (5).

So far two bodies have been fished out and search is on for others.

Hallimysuru police visited the spot and a case has been registered.
