Kacha Badam: Internet sensation Bhuban Badyakar injured as he meets accident while learning to drive

Kolkata: Bhuban Badyakar, the singer of Kacha Badam song that went viral on the social media, was injured as he met with an accident while trying to learn driving at his native village in West Bengal's Birbhum district, media reports said.

He was hospitalised following the mishap.

Speaking to the media as quoted by Zee News, Bhuban said, "I was trying to drive the car when I had an accident but it was not a major one. The doctors have prescribed medicines and they have done all the necessary tests. I am much better now."

Bhuban Badyakar became an overnight sensation as his song went viral across the internet.

He had composed the song to attract buyers as he travelled to different villages in the Birbhum district selling peanuts.
