Jute mill CEO's death: Six arrested

Kolkata, June 16 (IBNS) At least six people were arrested in connection with the killing of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a jute mill at Bhadreswar town in West Bengal's Hooghly district.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday ordered a probe into the CEO killing.

"The death of the CEO of a jute mill in Bhadreswar is sad," said Banerjee.

"I have instructed the police to take strong action against the culprits," she said.

North Brook Jute Mill CEO S.K. Maheswari was allegedly beaten to death by workers on Sunday.
