Jharkhand: Two youth run over by truck in Gumla

Gumla/UNI:  Two persons lost their lives on Sunday as they were run over by a speeding truck near Dodag village under Ghaghra Police Station area of the district.

The deceased were identified as Upendra Oraon (22) and Dharampal Oraon (24).

Both of them hailed from Kugaon village while one of their other friends Shani Oraon (16) sustained serious injuries and was admitted at the Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Police said that the trio were going to visit a local fair when a goods laden truck coming from Gumla hit the bike killing the duo on the spot. Post the incident the truck driver fled from the spot however he was nabbed near Toto Petrol Pump.
