Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren files nomination

Dumka, Apr 22 (UNI) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president and party candidate from Dumka Shibu Soren today filed his nominations here.

Soren who filed his nominations before District Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar was also accompanied by his son and Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly Hemant Soren and JVM(P) MLA Pradeep Yadav and Irfan Ansari of the Congress.

Earlier a public meeting was also organised at Yagya Maidan in which all the leaders of the Mahagathbandhan including Hemant Soren, Babulal Marandi of the JVM(P), JPCC Dr Ajay Kumar and state RJD president Gautam Sagar Rana were present.

Elections on all the three seats of Santhal Pargana including Dumka, Godda and Rajmahal is scheduled in the seventh and the final phase on May 19.
