Jharkhand: 5 killed in collision between truck and SUV in Ranchi

Ranchi, Apr 20 (UNI) Five people including couple of women were killed today following a collision between a SUV and a truck on the ring road under Namkum Police Station area of the state capital.

Police said that near Sarbal village on the ring road, the truck collided with the SUV which was coming from the opposite end. Such was the impact of the accident that the five people were killed on the spot.

All the deceased hailed from Pipratoli of Chanho. In the accident few others also sustained injuries who have been admitted at RIMS. Police said that the truck was laden with batteries.
