Jammu Police rescues newborn baby

Jammu, Jul 31 (UNI) Jammu Police on Wednesday rescued a newborn baby from Miran Sahib area, here on city outskirts.

According to Police Spokesperson, information was received that a female infant was found abandoned at Gazia Road near village Kullian, R S Pura.

"Based on a complaint, police team reached to the spot, rescued the baby and shifted her to SMGS Hospital, Jammu, he said.

A case has been registered and further investigations were underway,he added.

Police however, have also circulated phone numbers seeking any details or information from the locals about the infant.
