Jammu and Kashmir: Two terrorists killed in Srinagar

Srinagar: Security forces killed two terrorists  in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar city on Saturday.

The gun battle broke out at Zakura area of Srinagar when joint teams of forces launched an anti militancy operation.

"Two terrorists of the TRF (The Resistance Front) were killed in the gun battle," police told UNI.

They said one of the slain was involved in the recent killing of a head constable in south Kashmir.

"02 #terrorists of terror outfit LeT/TRF #neutralised by Srinagar Police. One of the killed terrorists Ikhlaq Hajam was involved in recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag. Incriminating materials including 02 pistols recovered: IGP Kashmir," reports Kashmir Zone Police.
