Jammu and Kashmir: Two RR soldiers injured in Kupwara blast

Baramulla, Apr 5 (UNI) Two soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) were wounded when a blast took place near Army camp in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Friday, official sources said.

The blast took place when soldiers were fixing barbed wire fence around the camp at Lachampora Rajwara area in Handwara in Kupwara.

The injured soldiers were shifted to nearby Army medical unit. The condition of both the soldiers is stable, they added.

The actual cause of blast was not immediately known, they said.

Police party has been rushed to the spot to ascertain the cause.
