Jammu and Kashmir: Three suspected militants arrested in Kupwara, arms & ammunition recovered

Srinagar/UNI:  Three suspected militants were arrested while arms and ammunition were recovered during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, a Defence ministry spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said on a tip off a joint search operation was launched late Monday evening at Lalpura, Kupwara.

During the operation, three suspected militants were arrested and one AK rifle, two pistols with magazines and other ammunition were recovered.

He said the joint operation was going on when the reports last came in.
