Jammu and Kashmir: SPO shoots self to death in Doda
Jammu: A Special Police Officer has allegedly shot himself to death at the place of his deployment in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police on Sunday said the SPO, a resident of Kakota, Gandoh, district Doda, deployed at Sessions Court for guard duty, 'shot himself with his service rifle'.
He died on the spot, the police said.
They added that the cause behind taking an extreme step is being ascertained while the investigation is in progress.
