Jammu and Kashmir: Rifle snatched from a CRPF man in Pulwama

Srinagar: A suspected militant snatched a rifle from a Central Reserve Police Force in Jammu and Kashmir Pulwama district, official sources said.

They said the weapon of a CRPF man was snatched at Bellow Pulwama at around noon on Sunday.

"The rifle was snatched from a CRPF man during patrolling," sources said, adding the accused involved in the incident has been identified.

Joint forces have cordoned the area and a search has been launched.

Police has not issued any statement on the incident
