Jammu and Kashmir: Policeman critically wounded in Srinagar

Srinagar: Suspected militants shot and critically wounded a policeman here on Tuesday, official sources said.

The shooting took place at Zoonimar area in the city's outskirts.

“The policeman was shifted to a hospital and his condition is stated to be critical,” an official said.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a massive search for the attackers.

On Monday evening, a civilian was shot dead and a non-Kashmiri was wounded in two attacks in Kashmir.
