Jammu and Kashmir: Jawan suffers injuries due to mine blast on LoC

Jammu: A soldier suffered injuries on Sunday when he inadvertently stepped over a mine and it exploded along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

One soldier this afternoon sustained injuries after accidentally stepping on a landmine that suddenly exploded near LoC in Krishna Ghati sector, official sources said.

They said that the injured jawan was evacuated and airlifted to hospital for advanced treatment.
