Jaaved Jaaferi files nomination papers

Lucknow, Apr 9 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi, who has been fielded by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to contest the Lok Sabha polls, on Wednesday filed his nomination papers from the Lucknow constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

 

"Filing my nomination papers now.. Need all the prayers and wishes. Aam Aadmi Zindabaad!," Jaaferi tweeted.
 
The actor is all set to take on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh  from Lucknow seat.
 
"Contesting election from Lukhnow as AAP candidate..here's to change..Jai Hind!!!,"  Jaaferi had earlier tweeted.
