It was a 100% perfect surgical strike: Manohar Parrikar

Agra, Oct 6 (IBNS): Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday said "it was a 100% perfect surgical strike" by the Indian Army across the Line of Control (LoC) and that there is no need to share the proof of the same.

Addressing a BJP rally in UP's Agra, Parrikar said: "It was a 100% perfect surgical strike.Even when bigger nations do surgical strikes, they are not as successful."

He said when it comes to the security of the country, he can even think wily.

"Many people consider me to be a straight-forward person but I can think in wily manner too when it comes to the security of my country," said he.

Last week, the Indian Army had conducted surgical strikes across the LoC to destroy several terrorist launch pads inflicting "significant casualties" in what is being seen as a retaliation to repeated terror attacks, including the one at Uri in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed.
