| @indiablooms | Jul 14, 2026, at 03:04 pm

An Indian man has sparked curiosity among internet users after sharing a screenshot of a WhatsApp message from a recruiter who claimed to represent a Karachi-based company.

According to a post shared on X by 21-year-old Aditya, the recruiter allegedly offered him an onsite role with visa sponsorship and a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 (approximately Rs 1.7 crore to Rs 2.1 crore) per year.

The message indicated that the recruiter was based in Karachi, Pakistan, and claimed that the majority of the team operated according to the UK time zone.

Sharing the screenshot on X, Aditya wrote: "Just received an onsite offer from a Karachi-based company. $180-220k base, visa sponsored, and the team operates in the UK timezone. Should I go for it?"

The post quickly generated curiosity and a range of reactions from internet users.

One user jokingly wrote: "Bhai, itne mein toh poora Karachi aa jayega."

Another advised caution, saying: "Dude, it is not always about the package or pay. You should understand the geopolitical situation as well when considering a career or job change. I mean, yeah, that’s my opinion since you’ve asked for it."

Another user mockingly commented: "If you want to be on the terror watchlist, go for it."
