India’s Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, on Sunday, met family members of Sudeep Neupane, the only foreign national who was killed during the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

Sharing an image of the meeting, the Indian Embassy in Nepal posted on X: "Ambassador @IndiaInNepal met the family of Late Sudip Neupane, a young Nepali national who was one of the 26 victims of the dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, India on 22 April 2025, and conveyed his sincere condolences. He assured them of Government of India's steadfast commitment towards fight against #Terrorism & to bring the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terrorist attack to justice."

Sudeep, who had pursued a diploma in health sciences, was touring  Kashmir with his family.

Naveen Srivastava met Nepal PM KP Oli on Friday and briefed him about the latest tension that escalated between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack.

During the meeting, Oli reiterated Nepal’s unwavering commitment to global peace.

The PM's official X handled wrote about the meeting: " H.E. Naveen Srivastava, Amb. of India to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on the Rt.Hon. PM KP Sharma Oli today. During the call on, Amb. Srivastava apprised the PM of the ongoing tensions between IND & PAK. In response, PM Oli reiterated Nepal’s unwavering commitment to global peace."

Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a key security meeting at his residence on Sunday following Pakistan's breach of the ceasefire agreement.

The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, the Chief of Defence Staff, and Tri-Services Chiefs.

The meeting comes after Pakistan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control and launched multiple drone incursions into Indian airspace.

According to media reports, the meeting aims to assess the current situation and strategize India's response to Pakistan's actions.

India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire effective 5 pm on Saturday after four days of intense military exchanges following Operation Sindoor, which was undertaken to strike terror bases in Pakistan and PoK in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

However, hours after the deal, Pakistan, later in the night, violated the agreement along the LoC at multiple locations.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said late Saturday night that within hours of the ceasefire declaration, Pakistan violated the agreement, prompting India to demand that Islamabad act responsibly and rein in the breaches.

“In the last few hours, there have been repeated violations of the understanding arrived at earlier this evening between the directors general of military operations of India and Pakistan,” Misri said in a press briefing on late Saturday night.

Meanwhile, curbs have been lifted across several cities on Sunday, even as the forces remained highly vigilant.

The India Air Force (IAF) in a statement on Sunday said it executed assigned tasks in Operation Sindoor, with precision and professionalism. Operations were conducted in a deliberate and discreet manner, aligned with National Objectives.
