Indian army chief visits Jammu and Kashmir to review situation

Srinagar/New Delhi, Sep 9 (IBNS): General Dalbir Singh, Chief of Army Staff, arrived in Srinagar on Friday to review he security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, according to media reports.

He will review the unrest situation in the hinterland of the Kashmir valley.

Prior to the all-party meeting on Wednesday to find a resolution to the unrest in Kashmir, Home Minister Rajnath Singh had  General Dalbir Singh, according to media reports.

General Dalbir Singh will also review the situation along the Line of Control in Kashmir, the media reported.
