Indian Army chief General Rawat to visit Jammu and Kashmir as Pak ceasefire violations continue

New Delhi/Srinagar, May 24 (IBNS): With an increase in ceasefire violations and attacks by Pakistan in the Kashmir valley of J&K in the past few days, Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat is headed for the region on Thursday, according to media reports.

 According to reports, the violation has noticeably gone up after the unilateral cease fire declared by the Central government owing to Ramadan.

On Thursday, according to reports, the Pakistan Army continued firing along the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Baramulla district.
