India will never forgive murderer Congress: Amit Shah on Sam Pitroda's 1984 anti-Sikh riot remark
New Delhi, May 10 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah has slammed Congress leader Sam Pitroda over his 1984 anti-Sikh riot remark saying the country will never forgive murderer Congress.
Shah reacted after Pitroda, who is known to be close to Congress president Rahul Gandhi, said: "What has happened in 1984? You should talk about what has happened in the last five years. What has happened in 1984 has happened."

The BJP chief tweeted, "Agony of the entire Sikh community. Suffering of all those Sikh families killed by Congress leaders in 1984. Attack on Delhi’s secular ethos. All Summed up in these three words by Sam Pitroda - Hua To Hua. India will never forgive #MurdererCongress for its sins."
Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in Punjab, the BJP has cited Nanavati Commission report which claims the anti-Sikh riot in 1984 after the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was instructed by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The anti-Sikh riots had erupted in different parts of the country following Gandhi's assassination by her Sikh security guards in the wake of the army operation in the Amritsar Golden Temple to flush out terrorists. The pogrom claimed at least 3,000 lives across the country.
Even Rajiv Gandhi had then courted controversy stating, "..when a big tree falls, then the earth does shake a little", referring to his mother and immediate predecessor's assassination.
