India to host Buddhist summit in Delhi

New Delhi/UNI: India will be hosting a two day global Buddhist summit in New Delhi this month.

The first global Buddhist summit will be held on April 20-21 and will address contemporary global challenges.

The organizers said eminent scholars, Sangha leaders and dharma practitioners from all over the world will discuss the pressing global issues and look for answers in the Buddha Dharma which promotes universal values.

The International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) which is part of the Ministry of Culture will be hosting the Summit.
