I'll be a gardener of Harsh Vardhan's garden: Bedi

New Delhi, Jan 21 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, who filed her nomination paper for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections from Krishna Nagar constituency, said she will be a gardener of Union Minister Harsh Vardhan's "well maintained garden."
The constituency from which Bedi filed her nominations earlier belonged to Harsh Vardhan.
 
"I'll be just a gardener of his garden and a bit of a guardian," a confident Bedi told NDTV channel during her road show.
 
Bedi on Wednesday went to the people in east Delhi constituency, holding a road show.
 
With few cars and party men following her, the former top cop traveled through the lanes and bylanes of the constituency from which she will be contesting her maiden election.
 
Moving in a jeep, Bedi was accompanied by was Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, who held this seat earlier.
 
Kejriwal is contesting from the New Delhi constituency, where the BJP has put up Nupur Sharma, a young London School of Economics graduate.
 
Wednesday is the last day of filing nomination for the Delhi Assembly polls.
 
The national capital goes to polls on Feb 7 and the results will be declared on Feb 10.
