New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS): Venkaiah Naidu, Minister for Information & Broadcasting on Wednesday visited the Media Units and their facilities at Soochna Bhawan to get a first-hand experience of their functioning.

Commenting on the recently opened New Book Gallery by Publications Division, Naidu urged the people to visit the gallery and make use of the rich collection of books brought out by Publications Division.

He added that youngsters should make use of the Digital Online Library which contains selected archival books that can be accessed in the Book Gallery free of cost. In the age of instant communication, it was important to nurture the habit of reading amongst all age groups.

This initiative by the Publications Division was an important step in this direction.

The Minister was accompanied by Minister of State for I&B, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Secretary I&B, Ajay Mittal and senior officers of Ministry of I&B.
