IAF brings back 630 Indians from Ukraine by operating three more C-17 fights

New Delhi : The Indian Air Force operated three more C-17 flights to bring back  630 Indian nationals who were stranded in war-ravaged Ukraine.

The IAF said they were brought back to Delhi by using the airfields in Romania and Hungary. 

"Three more #IAF C-17 aircraft returned to Hindan airbase late last night and early morning today carrying Ukraine conflict affected 630 Indian nationals, using airfields in Romania and Hungary," IAF tweeted.

MoS Defence Ajay Bhatt tweeted: "My sincere gratitude to the brave crew and pilots of @IAF_MCCdeputed in evacuation of students from #Ukraine who are doing yeoman service to the Nation."
