H.L. Dattu visits J&K

Srinagar, Oct 5 (IBNS) Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice H.L. Dattu on Sunday visited Srinagar and took stock of the magnitude of damages caused to the infrastructure of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court and other subordinate courts in the city.

He also visited to the make-shift High Court at Gupkar Road from where the functioning was started after the devastating floods in the Valley.

According to reports, Dattu inspected the High Court complex and issued instructions to the concerned agencies to speed up the
sanitation work and restoration of basic amenities like electricity, water in the court complex so that the functioning was started from
there.

He also called for early repair and renovation of all the subordinate courts which have suffered damages due to recent floods in the state.
