Jaipur/IBNS: BJP held a rally with a large number of Hindu migrants from Pakistan, who are awaiting citizenship, in attendance.

Rajasthan, which is currently ruled by the Congress, shares 7 km long border with Pakistan. As of now, Congress has not clarified its stand on providing citizenship to Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Christians who fled Pakistan and Bangladesh following fear of persecution.

As of now, the rallies in support of CAA have not turned violent in the state.

The rally was led by former Chief Minsiter of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Scindia.
