Himachal Pradesh: Accused, who hoisted pro-Khalistani flag at Vidhan Sabha Complex in Dharmshala, nabbed

Shimla: Special Investigation Team of Himachal Pradesh police nabbed an alleged accused who hoisted a Pro-khalistan flag at Tapovan Vidhan Sabha Complex in Dharmshala.

The accused was nabbed at Marinda area of Punjab Wednesday morning and search for another is on.

This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur Wednesday who also holds the portfolio of Home.

CM said the State Police has got a major breakthrough in the Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha episode by apprehending one accused Harvir Singh S/o Rajinder Singh from Punjab Wednesday morning.

He said the accused has confessed to have put the Khalistani Flag and graffiti on the outer wall of HP Vidhan Sabha complex at Dharamshala and said the search for the second accused Vaneet Singh jointly by HP Police and Punjab Police was on and he would also be arrested soon.

He said the State police, in this process, has followed “rule of law” and “due process” and got the “search and arrest warrant' from the Competent Court in Dharamshala.
